Guided tours on Akershus fortress

Join us for a walk on the fortress grounds and learn about the building of Akershus, daily life throughout the centuries, royal visits and hostile sieges. We open doors that are normally closed to public, and promise both fun, exciting and terrible glimpses from the fortress´ first 700 years!

All of July – 11th. of August: Every day at 12 am, 2 pm and 4 pm, in addition Wednesdays 6 pm.

Adult 50,-, senior/student 40,-, children 30,- (0-6 yrs free), family (2+4) 120,-

All tours start from the Visitor Centre.
