St Patrick’s Day Concert – Muintir with friends

An Iorua – Irish Cultural Centre is proudly inviting you to a St Patrick’s Day concert presenting Muintir, Mná Oslo Irish Choir, and Sound-Irish Dance Company.

Round off your St Patrick’s weekend with songs, traditional tunes, and lovely dancing.

Together, Muintir’s members have more than 60 years’ experience on the music scene and a formidable knowledge of the Irish repertoire of songs and tunes. The band is truly versatile, and each member plays at least four instruments each.

The dancers of Sound-Irish Dance Company have performed with renowned artists like The Chieftains, Belfast Lads, Johnny Logan, Publiners, and Daithi Rua, and have worked with leading Irish choreographers like Joanne Doyle, Breandán de Gallaí, Dearbhle Lennon, and Lauren Smyth.

Mná Oslo Irish Choir was founded in November 2016 and is still going strong, singing a repertoire of mainly Irish songs – both in English and Irish. They are a friendly group of (mostly) Irish women, who in addition to singing enjoy social activities together.
