Once more Smelteverket is part of this year’s beautiful festivities in honour of our beloved river. Take a stop while you walk down Akerselva and enjoy a beautiful light installation along our windows by Rachel Wolfe and Katarina Caspersen.

Rachel Wolfe (b. 1984) is an American artist. Her image and installation works navigate the relationship between Vision and Body as a means to experience connections between the imagined and material.
Her work has been collected and exhibited in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Awards and scholarships are: First place by the jury, Imagining New Eurasia exhibition in Gwanju, South Korea. Woelffer scholarship, academic merit award from Otis College of Art and Design, Academic scholarship for sociology study in Matsuyama Japan, Historic Pathways winner from Indiana State University.
Katarina Caspersen is a freelance illustrator and mastergrad student at Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo.
